The Power of Living Fortune Education

“Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.”  Jim Rohn

In order to make a fortune I think that it’s not a bad idea to make first a living. To give yourself the opportunity to grow and figure out what it is you want to achieve in life. Education can have in all ways a positive effect on your living. Educating yourself might make you more motivated to reach your goals. Especially nowadays when people have so many material whises and bills to pay we need to take action step by step. I graduated last year but I didn’t felt proud at myself since the society today makes you think that you only succeed when you are graduated and have 10 million on your bank account. I didn’t felt proud because the degree we are getting has lost the value it had in the past. So many people are showing proudly how they got everything they want without even getting a education. Despite the fact that this is possible I still believe in the power of education.

”Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Nelson Mandela

The problem is I think not with education but the structure of education that we have. Everything around us has already changed but our education system stays the same for a long time. We spend years and years to teach children about different topics like biology, history and language. However we hardly spend any time on thinking, the mind, body and soul. How our thoughts can impact our lives and how we can influence them. We don’t spend any time on what a child wants to achieve but only on what it wants to become. What would happen if school education was combined with the self-education leaders talk about?

So I have made a top 3 things you can do to get not school or self education but a Living Fortune Education.

  1. Read one book a week and listen to an audio or watch a video presentation about a topic a day. It’s actually pretty easy to not only increase your knowledge about a topic but to become an expert in it too. You know the average person reads 4 books a year while a CEO for example reads 4 books a MONTH!
  2. Follow trainings, workshops, coach sessions or a course about a specific topic or something new. Trying new things not only increases your knowledge but also your social skills and your confidence. You give yourself the opportunity to gain knowledge and practice the practical part too.
  3. Get to know yourself. I think this one is the most important want too. You can get as much education you want. At the end of the day you need to know who you are and why you are doing things in certain ways. What are your habits and your way of thinking? Why are you not improving yourself? What’s really your dream and where do you want to go what do you want to achieve?

Cheers to your succes!
